Donation for block party is separate from $60 per year

1) Please share your ideas about where you would like to see us invest on the block.
a) Block Beautification
b) Dog signs (metal ones that have stakes)
c) Additional rat traps
d) Mosquito trapz
e) Solar Lights (for areas on the block that are too dark)
f) Build a small wooden library (Sherry/Michelle?)
g) (Your ideas)

2) Sherry and Margaret will ask Jeannie for Black Veterans House Number so we can get in touch ask about Garden access on the south side of the block and to find a better garbage solution. Their garbage always has rats and there is continual sidewalk debris and stains.

3) Sherry will speak to the owner of Pilar about garbage in the tree beds and incorrect disposal of cooking oil on the block.

4) NOTICE TO ALL OWNERS: Please survey your property carefully for rat holes as the block association and all members will be calling 311 about the current rat issues.

TO ADDRESS THE RAT INFESTATION ALL RESIDENTS MUST CALL 311

(Ask to be directed to the department of health) Please continue to diligently clean in front of your house and pick the garbage out of the tree beds. This will discourage rats.

a) Everyone should consider purchasing Mintx garbage bags that help repel rats.

5) New member, Walter has offered to help us investigate and possibly create a block-wide website. Thanks Walter!

6) THANK YOU to Sherry who installed a plastic bin (and dog signs) with bags on the south east side of the block. Please continue to encourage offenders to clean up after their pets or post a flyer https://materials.bwprronline.org/system/tdf/Clean-Up-Dog-Flyer.pdf

7) Be Proactive with the Mosquito Problem:
a) Remove any standing water or garbage from your backyards.
b) There are not enough block funds to purchase mosquitoes traps yet, individual households are encouraged to install the following hyper killbot, only $600:
